This is a 1960 Austin-Healey 3000 Mark 1 BT7 Roadster that was recently acquired from a desert community in California, likely a lifelong California car. It’s been partially restored and is painted in an attractive Gulf blue with an ivory insert. This model is a Mark 1, a four-seater with front disc brakes, four-speed overdrive, and wire wheels.
The paint on the car is in good condition, and although there is a dent in one spot, it appears repairable. The bodywork is straight, and the car has decent gaps. Chrome trim is partially installed, and the undercarriage looks solid with no rust issues.
Inside, the seats are in pretty good shape, but the car could benefit from a complete trim kit replacement. The engine compartment features the correct 3,000 Mark 1 engine and is in decent condition.
