We recently acquired this Spitfire from a Midwest owner who asserts that the displayed 49,000 miles are indeed original due to his familiarity with the car’s previous owners. The early build features European-style slim chrome bumpers, giving it an authentic appeal. The rear over-riders were removed, and the front can be likewise.  The car showcases just a single repaint, with only a minor ding on the body to note.

The driving quality offers a crisp and confident experience on the road. The engine bay showcases the original Mallard Blue paint, with all fluids checked and serviced. The car is fitted with a header.

The car’s interior seats look authentically original and well-preserved, matched by lovely door panels and a top dash pad. The wood on the dash is slightly worn, but swapping it out for a wood kit would be a simple endeavor.
