-Offered for sale, from Kurt Tanner Motorcars, is this superb TR6 in perfect colors and great options. Recently acquired from only it’s second Southern CA owner, this well preserved original is only showing a mere 65,792 miles from new.

-Delivered new to it’s first owner on November 26, 1974 by British Motorcar Distributors, LTD of Anaheim, CA. The car lived in Yorba Linda, CA and was then sold 3 years later on December 5th, 1977 to only it’s second owner of Newport Beach who we recently acquired the car from. 

-Finished in super desirable Carmine Red with New Tan trim, this car retains about 70% of it’s original paintwork with only a few repainted panels, as needed, throughout it’s gentle life. Very good panel fit throughout, never been apart. 

-Original chromework to the bumpers, door handles, gascap, and lights presents very well.

The brushed aluminum wheel trim rings are outstanding along with the chrome wheel nuts and center motifs.

-Newer windshield glass has been fitted with renewed glazing rubber. Condition of the hardtop is excellent with original paintwork/headliner/seals. 

-It retains 100% of it’s original interior in excellent condition, save for a newer OEM wool carpet set from Roadster Factory in the perfect color. Original dashboard pads, wood facia. Factory fitted, original reflectorized soft top is still in nice condition. Original, mint condition tan top boot with black tonneau cover. PLEASE SEE WALK AROUND VIDEO.

-Mechanically the car is superb with maintenance as required and a recent (mileage-wise) clutch replacement. A new set of tires have just been fitted and it drives crisp and smooth. The engine compartment is highly original with it’s emission sticker, original plug wire set, green hoses and clamps, and very nice condition original paintwork throughout. 

-In terms of the TR6 world, this car is a very rare find in regards to the desirable color combination, desirable factory Hardtop and Overdrive options, low mileage, 2-owner CA provenance, and it’s lovely originality throughout.
