-Recently purchased from it’s East Coast seller is this desirable E-type Roadster that still retains it’s original data plate, body tag, stamped picture frame, and matching numbers engine showing 37,417 miles. Driven a bit and then stored for years by the seller’s husband, this car now awaits a full restoration.

-Bodywork all around really shows no signs of an accident with a very nice nose on the bonnet with good headlamp fit. Doors and trunk fit fairly well. The bonnet is just loosely fitted onto the car but should fit up/gap very well with no signs of any damage or bulkhead trauma. PLEASE SEE WALK AROUND VIDEO.

-The car has the typical East Coast rust spots including floors, inner and outer sills, boot floor, lower bonnet support panel, bottoms of doors, and more as the monocoque and bonnet are due for a complete rebuild, best tackled by a specialist or an experienced restorer/welder. The 4-piece bonnet subframe set look very good.

-The engine compartment is untouched and still retains lots of original clips/clamps/fittings/Champion spark plug caps with it’s matching numbers engine that turns by hand. It may even run great with some minor work…PLEASE SEE ENGINE COMPARTMENT VIDEO. 

-Overall, a complete, straight, highly original and possibly low mileage desirable E-type 1.5 Roadster needing a full restoration.
