-The MK3 was the final variation and most developed of the Austin Healey 3000 line. It offered all the improvements of the MK2 plus a 150 bhp engine, servo assisted brakes, revised luxury interior with walnut dashboard facia, quieter exhaust system, increased ground clearance, and a top speed of over 120 mph.

-This very nice example here is an early Phase 2 single light model and was just acquired from the state of Washington from it’s long term family ownership. It shows a believed original mileage of 42,207 and is a well-preserved original, receiving mechanical and cosmetic improvements as necessary.

-Paintwork is a modest recent repaint in it’s original color of Healey Blue over a super good straight body with nice panel gapping. Chromework is mostly excellent, being a mixture of good original and new reproduction items. A quality newer Triplex windshield glass has been fitted with new rubber gaskets. 

-The interior retains it’s original seat set, front and back, in very good condition with minimal repairs. Carpets are newer cut pile navy blue, along with a panel kit, armbar set, armrest, top pad, newer cloth navy blue soft top. The top boot and tonneau cover are original Everflex items. -The correct 29K engine/engine bay recently received a pressure wash and full detailing and presents nicely. Underneath, the undercarriage looks really solid and retains a healthy looking newer mild steel exhaust system.
