-Recently purchased from it’s older Florida owner is this genuine and matching numbered engine 1963 L-84 Fuelie Roadster finished in super desirable Sebring Silver with black trim. 1 of only approximately 1200 produced, this rare and desirable early Corvette Sting Ray is a rare and exciting find. -This car appears to have possibly had a ground-up restoration in the past, with an excellent detailed undercarriage and engine bay, still presenting very well today. -Paintwork on the car is older and is now showing some fine checking, small chips, slight fading, etc. but still presents well from 10 feet as driver level paintwork. Panel fit is very good and as expected for the car’s age/build quality -Chromework and is original and pretty good throughout. The car’s stainless items appear all very nice and original, along with an excellent windshield glass, side vent windows and rubber, side door glass. -The car’s interior looks fantastically original throughout, save for a recovered armrest. Seats appear excellent and original, along with the door panels, kick panels, black loop carpet throughout, sun visor set, really mint condition dashboard assembly, steering wheel, working original “Delco” radio and clock. The soft top frame assembly operates beautifully. The correct black soft top is now showing some age, shrinking, rear window yellowing, a few small tears… -PLEASE SEE WALK AROUND VIDEO. -Underneath and in the engine compartment, the car looks well-restored, clean and detailed. The car runs and drives strong with no issues or noises, good oil pressure. -Currently the fuel injection system needs some servicing as we’ve noticed a small fuel leak. Tires could use updating and brakes pull a bit left but are improving. -PLEASE SEE RUNNING AND DRIVING VIDEOS. -This L-84 C2 Fuelie Roadster is a rare find in desirable original colors, and is in generally super good, well-preserved condition throughout. It’s presented in this lovely usable /approachable driver condition, would benefit from fresh paintwork, and is a good solid investment going forward.
